Make no mistake, these are the REALTHING! From the subzero climes of Iceland, the friendly icelandic sheep allow VIKPRJONSDOTTIR to create the BEARDCAP from their Ultra warm, lightweight wool.

The beardcap refers to a traditional cap called “lambshed-hood” which was used in Iceland by farmers who in heavy snowstorms had to walk long distances between their sheds and to the neighbouring farms.
The cap covered both head and neck and had only a small opening for the face.

VIKPRJONSDOTTIR knitwear is created in the southernmost part of Iceland called 'VIK'.

The cap is made from 100% icelandic wool, and is available EXCLUSIVELY in the UK at LIK+NEON. One size, 4 colours and 2 styles: "the Farmer" in Dark Grey only, and " The Gent" in Brown, Light Grey, Yellow and Dark grey.

As part of LONDON DESIGN WEEK 2010, Julian Mayor is showing
three new works - the Graziano chair, the may stool, and the Frame light
in brass. Each is part of a numbered edition. The collection is based
on crushed forms shown as computer generated wire-frame models,
computers are used both as a tool for the realisation of the project
and as a central theme in the work itself.

Another Brighton-brightspark graduate, CLAUDE DAVOINE has invented the 1st "TOUCHWOOD" keyring. This good-luck key-finder, is a handy item to have around at all times, especially if you say things like "... i hope it won't rain this Bank Holiday??!" One side is laser-engraved wood, the other is a smooth veneer surface and available in a vast spectrum of surprisingly 'off-key' ( excuse the pun ), pastel and 'formica bright' colours.

If the fact that SHOBOSHOBO did the artwork for 'My Love For You is A Cheap Pop Song' wasn't enough excitement for us, then this video has had the effect of drinking 5 cans of cola in one go. Brilliant.
